Are you a Carrot, an Egg or Coffee Beans?

A carrot goes into the boiling water strong and hard,
but after some time will come out soft and fragile.

An egg goes in with a soft centre, but after some time
becomes hard-boiled inside.

Coffee beans however however, reach their best state
when the temperature is high. That is when the full
flavour of the bean can be tasted and its richest aroma released.

When we meet with life's adversity (like boiling water), which
do we become?
