Are we like the carrot...do we wilt and lose our strength and spirit?

Are we like an egg...do we harden and become bitter in our hearts,
although our exeterior might still look the same?

Or do are we like the coffee beans...do we improve and become
enriched when we we emerge from hardships, and enhance our
surrounding by making it better?
